I’m Sophie. I’ve been in your shoes, from the stockroom to the landlord’s office, and now I’m in your corner.
From the shop floor to head office to the landlord side, I've seen how these businesses work from every angle, including plenty most people are too polite to say out loud.
I started Market & Me because I kept watching great businesses go without the support they deserved, and decided to do something about it.
I care about results and I'll always tell you the truth. If that sounds like your kind of person, let's talk!
Why Market & Me Exists.
Too many great businesses were getting stuck with no honest outside view to match their ambition. When you're too close, it's hard to see what you're missing. Market & Me is that outside view, built by someone who's worked inside your world.

On the brand side and the landlord side
Stockroom to running shops, bars and restaurants
Started on the shop floor and honestly loved it. I ran sites and built teams for big names, independents, start-ups and even a luxury cruise ship, learning the hard way what makes a business perform. It didn't feel like it at the time, but it was the best education I ever got.
Head office
I worked my way up into national roles heading up retail operations, marketing, events and business performance. Suddenly I was in the big meetings setting strategy at scale, and I realised pretty quickly I had a lot to say about it.
The landlord side
First Westfield, at the time the biggest shopping centre in the UK and the busiest in Europe. Then Places for London, Transport for London's commercial property estate, with over 1,000 retail businesses and hundreds of railway arches. I led strategy and customer experience across some of the most complex retail environments in the country.
Advising on the side
Founders kept asking me for support and being told it wasn't anyone's job to give it. I disagreed, and started advising them alongside my day job.
Market & Me
Eventually I stopped doing it on the side and made it official. Now I work 1:1 with founders who are ready to grow, and with councils and landlords on the businesses that keep their places busy. Every lesson from the stockroom to the boardroom gets used, and I love it!

I lead every project personally and bring in specialists I trust when the brief needs them.
